add verb to arguments

Is it possible to add the verb that was clicked as an argument to the called program? Seems it should be possible:

Having some issues compiling the program so am unable to add it myself.

Seems possible.
But the verb name seems basically a registry key name (according to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/api/shobjidl_core/nf-shobjidl_core-iinitializecommand-initialize), so why do you want it? I'm just curious.
Also I may be able to help resolve your compile error.

for my compile / build problems I get:

Disabling "Treat Warnings As Errors", allows me to build successfully, but I get this error:

actually is it possible to get the verb in pipe mode as well? just want to avoid the character limit for command line, just in case

Yes, both modes support verb name and file list replacement.

its not working for me:

and I only get a list of files and not the verb.

Hmm, I tested p arg "C:\Windows\py.exe" "C:\test\aaaa.py" argf "argv" and it seems working.

You mean you want to get verb name through pipe? I think it's not good idea because then we wouldn't be able to determine if the last string is a verb name or just the last file.

If we could do the replacements just like in command mode, ie D:\Programs\ExecuteCommand400A.exe p arg "C:\Windows\pyw.exe" "D:\Programs\execute.py" argf "argv" we would know that files come first and then the verb. It would also unify the behavior of both modes. Just a thought!
