Can't figure out how to fix it due to a severe lack of documentation. Do I need another package?

Sorry about that; I didn't add a header that was needed. I've just added it.
Does current git work for you?
Also, sorry for taking so long to fix it (I'd been running Alpine Linux, and only paying attention to Alpine packages.)

I moved to Alpine too. I don't really feel like checking if current git works for my little distro thing as I already patched it away after a few weeks of waiting.

I also had to do https://github.com/asiekierka/yuyulinux/blob/master/tinyxlib/tinyxlib-fix-makefile.diff
