But it does not work with the ferui icon library. Here is an example of a correctly formatted svg from the Connectivity logo:

Looks like the only attributes we should have on a path is fill and fill-rule -- we shouldn't have any attributes starting with stroke

Thanks @iamtash I could use a bit more explanation on what's needed to be changed? Though, these are meant to be diff than the 'Connectivity Logo' or any or the product logo icons. It was something discussed w/ Jon awhile back for these illustrative icons but am having trouble remembering if this issues is blends in to that, could we loop him in?

here are some guidelines for generating the svgs that y'all provide us with:

• use the Ferui Icon Tool to validate svgs. the tool effectively tells us whether an svg meets the requirements for shaping a dynamic ferui icon
• leave out XML tag (<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?)
• do not use strokes
• do not use groups
• minimize the number of paths as much as possible

design team can use hard coded fill attributes for previewablity, just note that once a dev converts a provided svg to a ferui icon component, they will have removed all fill attributes, for the exception of fill opacity for the overlay path. this is so that ferui icons can ultimately be assigned any color by the end user.

Thanks 👍 @iamtash I've asked IT to approve the FerUI Icon Tool for me. I'll have to streamline the icon edits , currently I updated them to remain flexible within Figma by retaining the stroke and groups of paths as needed, but for development...

I should be able to adjust most icons to fit the constraints, need to see if some icons need to be uploaded as variations of one, and some have specific behaviors that I'll need to send you the details on Slack regarding how these particular icons should work in dev
