Which component impacted?

Encode

Is it regression? Good in old configuration?

No, this issue exist a long time

What happened?

On the latest version of Bazzite, with an Intel Arc B580, using WiVRn Server set to vaapi mode, with LIBVA_DRIVER_NAME=iHD (that's the only one my system has and i think that means it's this repository), launch any VR game, overlay, or application.

It is very green and corrupt. The VRChat window is not green corruption, it looks normal.

If you set WiVRn to x264 (software encoding) mode, it's properly encoded (just high latency, not good for VR)
(and if you set it to vulkan video, it crashes!)

This started a few months ago, and sadly I never caught the update where this started for other reasons, but there were a fair number of months before this where it worked PERFECTLY.

Note this effects both AVC and HEVC VAAPI.

What's the usage scenario when you are seeing the problem?

Game Streaming

What impacted?
