Auto-capitalisation ignored by IRCCloud message input

Description

Virtual keyboard auto capitalisation settings are ignored. First characters at the beginning of messages and after full stops are lowercase; an uppercase first character is expected. Other Android apps behave as expected with these settings.

Impact

On stock pixel devices, Gboard with AC enabled is the default keyboard configuration. (ie. This would be encountered by many users.)

This is a small usability issue, and only mildly frustrating to change behaviour to capitalise text manually.

Settings > System > Languages and input > Gboard > On-screen keyboard > Text correction > Auto-capitalisation
