vertical line spacing

Very very nice shape font
I tried to use for desktop, but the issue is very large vertical line spacing.
I have attached screenshot comparison between noto and hind

Same problem, really wish I could use this font for a game I'm developing, but the vertical spacing is just too wide. Would love to see this fixed, even if it meant a latin-only version! However, the OTF format might also let you accomplish this with a "BASE" table (assuming that's the issue): https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/typography/opentype/spec/base
