[Question] How is ttf's generated?

Yes. Glyphs app's PS-to-TTF converting work is well praised so at least for now I just rely on it.

Where in the process do you generate the TTFs? The codebase lacks documentation so it takes a long time to understand how it all works :)

Here's how I converted OTFs to TTFs;

$ cat convert.pe;
#!/usr/local/bin/fontforge

$ chmod +x ./convert.pe;
$ ./convert.pe hind*/*otf;

I then removed the FFTM tables by hand.

Here's how I ran ttfautohint:
