OnShape App doesn't exist

Hi, I was trying to install the Onshape app for Camel, but I found it doesn't exist. Is there any way to get it back?

I don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for but just make a copy of it.

Hmm. Currently you need to be a member of the Camel beta group to install the app. I have been meaning to move the app to production infrastructure but have been busy with other projects. In any case, the app is optional although it makes it a lot easier to download the GCode.

@ThisFlesh Out of curiosity, are you actively using Camel?

@j9brown I did make a few things, but not really using it. I like it, but like you said getting the GCode is kind of a pain.

I need a way to export the Gcode easily, I am able to generate it using the FS. The software will be shared with many other people, so I want it to be as streamlined as possible, which include using a dedicated app.

Also, I would not want to self host as that costs money.

Right now, I mainly use onshape on my computer at home, then load up on shape in the machine room computer and export gcods there.

I could just make a JavaScript bookmarklet, but that wouldn't be on my account on the cloud.

@ruskcoder If you send me your OnShape email address, I can add you to the beta group so you can use the Camel app to download files easily.

It's encouraging to know folks are using Camel. I'll see about migrating to production infrastructure so I can move the app out of beta.
