Dark Themes are not readable

If I switch to a dark theme I can't read the buttons at the top

I cannot reproduce with Quicktext v6.4.3 and Thunderbird 140

I am using Quicktext 6.4
just updated from 141 to 142.0
and when I tried the Dark theme v 1.3.1 the buttons at the top (see above) are gone and I now access Quicktext through a right click.
So this now works for me

I have a similar issue but with any light theme. Buttons are barely legible. Sub-menus are Ok instead

Thunderbird: 128.13 (but even earlier versions had the same issue) on Fedora 42
Quicktext: 6.4.6

Theme: any light theme (e.g. Light theme/Nu grey/Arc Theme/)

My buttons and menus are all readable, but the popup ([[INPUT=Salutation|text]]) is all white with nothing readable.

edit: I dont think this is related to a dark theme I see others talking about this in #478
