To bad, afaik Thunderbird recommends these days to follow the regular updates, not the ESR for regular users. That's why Fedora also switched recently from ESR builds to the regular builds and pushed the 145 update to their users.

I used your plugin on a daily basis and love it... Need to figure out now what to do. :(

Try StandardTexter or another extension of your choice.

Unfortunately, ESR updates are lagging behind, e.g. year old version on Ubuntu / snap, so it's a security risk to use such outdated versions. Of course Quicktext author can support whatever they want, but not supporting newer versions means users are forced to use older versions that might have bugs and security issues. Well, here goes another user dumping Quicktext for something else.

I don't think that statement is true. Current ESR is 140.6. The data you show is accurate and nothing is lagging behind. The current ESR channel is based on Thunderbird 140 and gets all security fixes, but it is not getting new features. For the last 10 years ESR was the only available release channel. This year, Thunderbird is also providing a monthly release channel, with the latest new features shipped directly. I am currently not able to support that new monthly release channel.
