Moody tutorial (moorinfFloatingObject) with OpenFoam v1912 not working

I have compiled Moody source code with OpenFOAM v1912 without any issues but when I have used the tutorial case (mooredFloatingObject) available for v1906, I found that the simulation is stuck at the Time=0.0125 and not forwarding in time. I think the application is waiting for some response from Moody. Is there any fix to this issue?

Just for the information, I have no problems running moody as a standalone. I have also checked the moody environment variables which all seem to be okay.

Thanks for using Moody for your coupled simulations.
With regards to your question. I dont recognise this issue per se. I remember there were some minor differerences between the two 19xx versions. Dont remember the details but neither the API (moodyR), nor the tutorial are guaranteed to be cross-version compatible when migrated as is from 1906 to 1912.
Some suggestions that may or may not help debugging the issue:

1. Try to modify the native floatingObjett tutorial for 1912 to 1906.
2. Dig a little deeper into the moodyR restraint and print out info before and after.
3. Look in APIvalues.dat in the moody output. There you should be able to see all your fairlead positions. If not, there is an input issue.
4. If all else fails. Wait for an upcoming moody release which will include 1912 support as well. :) Hopefully we can get this sorted out this year (hopefully early december)
