wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32 #25

Hi -
Till now I have been using this python wrapper for our application on Pi 4. Now I switched to Raspberry 5 compare the performance difference and installed new OS "bookworm". I've been trying to execute our custom program where I imported this library and I ma getting this error "OSError: /usr/lib/cascades/vl53l0x_python.so: wrong ELF class: ELFCLASS32".
Dont know how to fix this because I've never gotten this error before. I'd really appreciate any help or feedback to resolve this issue.
