missing 64bit index support?

Compiled sphinxsearch with --enable-id64; sphinxapi returns wrong ids in case of long id in the database...

We use sphinx with --enable-id64 and don't have a problem. Do you get the correct IDs from the mysql interface (SphinxQL)?
