Adjust keyboard height in IOS/iPadOS

I am subscribing to keyboard notifications and publishing changes. I use this on a ViewModifier to pad the bottom with the size of the keyboard. This works for TextField, but is not working with TextVIew. Any insights/solutions?

Better solutions for adjusting screen to keyboard?

Try setting an explicit height and modifying that height instead of adding padding. Does that work?

What is actually happening is that padding is added but the form does not scroll so that the TextView remains hidden behind the keyboard. Will need to work around that.

Hi @kenmueller I also wonder how I can work with the keyboard properly. I'm new to SwiftUI and have no clue how to push up the form I render. My current issue is that the keyboard is overlapping the TextView and I can't see what I'm typing after a few lines.

Is there any best practices I don't know about or is it a bug? Thank you very much for this project - it helped me quite a lot already 😄

Tiny follow-up: I found this Gist and it helped me perfectly well after I reworked the TextView to not be inside a Form anymore but in a VStack with some custom styling.
