Beetlz preferences panel buggy

Popping up the Beetlz preference panel for a project and manually changing the paths to its user settings file often does not enable the "OK" or "Apply" buttons on the panel.  The only thing that I found works reliably is pressing the "Restore default" button then starting from scratch.
