issue when running devcontainer in github codespaces

What broke? What's expected?

devcontainer isn't building with proper features and pre-installed tools mentioned in .devcontainer directory of kubebuilder generated project when created using Github Codespaces

Reproducing this issue

1. Create a project: kubebuilder init --domain my.domain --repo my.domain/guestbook
2. Push it to Github repo
3. Create Github codespace for this Github repo

@milinddethe15 in your devcontainer.json file can you change the go image to golang:1.25-bookworm and check if it fixed the issue?

I already fixed it by changing following:

-"ghcr.io/devcontainers/features/docker-in-docker:2": {},
+"ghcr.io/devcontainers/features/docker-in-docker:2": {"moby": false},

There's some issue with moby and base image for docker-in-docker. Will test your suggestion and let you know.

The change would need to be made in:

kubebuilder/pkg/plugins/golang/v4/scaffolds/internal/templates/devcontainer.go

And we would need to run make install && make generate

Yes, I think we can do that. Should I open a PR?

@vitorfloriano we can upgrade the image version when go version is upgraded to v1.25, if upgrading image resolves this issue

When we support go 1.25 I think we should update it from -"image": "golang:1.24" to -"image": "golang:1.25"
But then seems still required +"ghcr.io/devcontainers/features/docker-in-docker:2": {"moby": false}, Am I right?

@milinddethe15 1+ for your fix.

There seems to be an issue with Debian 13 and moby, so we could either set moby to false or pin the base image to golang: 1.24-bookworm (Debian 12) to avoid that.

Can you open a PR to change the default scaffold with your fix? @camilamacedo86 already pointed you to the right file.
