Using -pati_spi

Hello, I had compiled (as best as I could, I'll get around to getting make to recognize that I already have libpci, libusb0 and libusb1 installed when I have the time, this also happens with the upstream flashrom, so it is not part of this issue) flashrom from here, however it would appeat that "pati_spi" is not included?

I am hoping to try helping out with your project, while at the same time getting my unbranded Radeon HD "7570" with "4"GB GDDR5 to appear as it should, a Radeon HD "6770" with 1GB GDDR5, so I wanted to start by attempting to back up the current firmware on my card.

Sorry, I had missed it.
Now I had downloaded it, however it would appear that to continue I'll need to get make to recognize that libpci is on my system, something that will also help towards getting flashrom accepted for inclusion for Solus.

I'm running Solus, and I have the pciutils package installed, yet make claims that libpci is missing.
So far I had (this was a bit lazy on my part) dowloaded the pciutils eopkg to check where libpci is, and it would appear that it is located in /usr/lib64.
Do you have any suggestions as to what to do from now? Since I see no abnormalities (nor am I skilled enough to know whether this is stanfard behaviour or not, I just know that Solus usually has these libraries in this location).

Install the respective -dev packages, or however your distribution likes to call them.

For anyone reading this: This is pretty much linux usage 101.
Packages without -dev are needed for running a program or using a library.
Packages with -dev are needed for building a program or library.

That what I usually do.
However this time there isn't one.
I'll post a package requeston the Solus Phabricator (the devtracker), and in the meantime I'll try comparing other -devel (the is the suffix used on Solus) with -dev packages from other distros in an attempt to educate myself better on this.

Alright, sorry it took so long.
Real life had set other priorities.
Now that pciutils-devel was installed, I have managed to get to the point that I had managed to backup the my GPU's current firmware (though funnily enough, when using the "internal" programmer, FlashROM failed to read my motherboard's firmware, it is probably due to it bein an Intel-branded motherboard).
What should be done from here to continue testing?

I'll try flashing the backed up firmware when I have the time.
I'll comment as to the the results of flashing and verifying.
