Macro knobs? #14
Description
It would be really nice to have a handful of macro knobs (say 4-8), that could be assigned to modulate any parameters, and easily accessible from MIDI. If you have a look at some massive or bitwig synth presets, you will see how useful this can be.
For example, if you use helm to synthesise a hat sound (as done at https://youtu.be/qWLjHqJX6aw), you could have a single knob for hat length, that simultaneously modulates parts of the ADSR, and the reverb parameters, to smoothly expand the sound, then this knob can be manipulated from the DAW. This is much nicer than having to map multiple parameters to the same automation channel.
These knobs might fit nicely next to the "keyboard mode" section.
