App should determine if its in game root or addons directory

## Description

It would be convenient, and probably reduce user error if the application could negotiate / determine if the supplied install directory is the root of the game install directory, _or_ the addons directory. 

Perhaps this can happen when the user uses the `set --install` command, and the application does the negotiation before saving the config value?
