weird artefacts during scrolling

Can't repro --- working OK today on Chrome 58.0.3029.110 (Official Build) (32-bit) running on Win8.1 x64

Before it looks that, It looks like some parts of letters were scrolled, some not:


Problem occurs during vertical scrolling, not horizontal.

It looks like some problem with calculation of actual pixel distances for scrolling. (Maybe it's something retina-related? (AFAIK resolution in retina displays is scaled down and it's seems to have other resolution). But this only my guess.

But maybe it's more like these letters are just deformed (like there were incorrect values used in transformations. It should just translate, but it looks more like skewing)

Ok so this has to be some kind of compiler bug (on the side of ANGLE on windows, probably). Apparently one corner of the input vertex stream doesn't get scrolled with the scrolloffset

I strongly doubt its retina related, or actually wrong code since otherwise it'd be broken everywhere (its not). Stuff like this is where shaders go from 'neat' to horrible things.

I have the same issue on Chrome Version 59.0.3071.115 (Official Build) (64-bit) OSX, but if i run it on Firefox 53.0.3 (64-bit) runs fine.

I would say must be some wrong value you get while scrolling in Chrome

No the values are fine, the skewing is because the vertexshader has a compiler bug. I'll repro and fix it soon.

could it be a chrome bug on osx?
