Set cube state

Thank you for the most awesome cube script I've ever seen :)
I am trying to use this implementation in my project with bluetooth-enabled Xiaomi Giiker smart cube. When cube device connects to the app, I'd like to be able to set 3d cube to the same state.
Is there a way to specify initial cube state?

Is it also possible to force cube to finish current twist animation immediately?
