Usage question

I have successfully done some like using browser to do the

http://localhost:8003/one

with a one.json file and also using under terminal

curl "http://localhost:8003/one"

But I do not quite understand two statements (1) about the model part (which I do not see any difference between model and event) and (2) about the POST http://localhost:/any_url and then p1=v1&p2=v2&p3=v3.

Any hint how to get to do these two? Thanks for any advice.
