Unable to create new values

I just upgraded to 2.2.0, but there's a regression, as I'm not able to create new values anymore :

From what version did you update? And which mendix version are you using? I'm trying to replicate your issue but I'm not successful so far. Can you maybe share a test project that has the issue?

Hey Nick ; sure I can provide a test project.
Mendix version : 9.10.1
Widget version : 2.2.
TestCustomDropdown_2.2.0.zip

(github doesn't accept mpk files, I had to put it in a zip)

Please also note that :

• 2.2.0 version of the widget is way slower when it comes to searching for options, compared to 2.1.0
• look at how tricky it is to handle the readonly thing (this is why I created Editability cannot be set #24)
• I created a new issue for the label (I created Possibility to set a label #30)

Thanks for providing the information. Did quite a lot of digging and it the error seems to be related to the mendix version. The test project of the widget is in 9.8.2 where everything works fine. but when I convert to 9.10.1 the problem appears. Unfortunately at the moment I don't have more time to look into it
