Description
I have recently installed meshplex for a user in a test-environment as part of a bigger installation and that all works. However, when I want to install the software in question in our production environment, I noticed that the older 0.19.7 is no longer available and thus not only makes it impossible for me to rebuild an already existing software stack, it also means that nobody can reproduce previous work.
As a scientist, this is not acceptable I am afraid to say. Software-builds need to be reproducible so others can reproduce claims made in a manuscript. If that is not doable, the whole manuscript is not acceptable as the fundamental foundation of science, reproducible, is not given. Software is here no different to other tools used in science, like balances or rulers for example.
I would therefore highly appreciate to make older versions of the software, including the dependencies, available on PyPi again.
