Fake/Genuine DS3 on v3 ControlApp

New v3 ControlApp doesn't show if the connected DS3 is fake or original.

Is this feature going to be added in the future?

Im facing this same issue on the current V2 version (V2.2.282). No icon appears beside device address to indicate whether a genuine or a fake has been plugged in?

That's because the web service the v2 app uses doesn't exist anymore.

That's ofc. up to you. v3 is quite stable and well tested already, simply not finished. And you can go back to v2 anytime anyway.

EDIT: if the detection feature itself is vital to you, in the meantime you can also do it yourself as a workaround.

Thanks alot for this tip. Ill try and check em manually using the values listed in your database. And ill definately be hopping on V3 then. Cheers.
