Is this file input compatible with IE11?

Hi, I'm trying to use this component with IE11, but I'm getting this error while file is uploaded:
It works on Chrome.

Here they say that FileReader.readAsBinaryString has been deprecated.

I have imported file upload component into project and modified line:

                        switch (readAs) {
                            case 'binary': {
                                reader.readAsText(file);
                                break;
                            }

And it works on IE11

Other option is to use:
<FileReaderInput as="text" id="my-file-input"....
