Paint on Image: cursor disappears

Describe the bug
When I use the "Paint on Image" plugin to add markers to the image, the cursor disappears as soon as I move the mouse over the image.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'Plugins'
2. Click on 'Paint on Image'
3. Scroll over picture
4. Cursor disappears

Expected behavior
Have a cursor to mark a picture at specific positions
