I have been/am a long term windows guy, but we've abandoned Android devices in favor of iPhones...
I am looking to dive deeper into Python, ideally coming up with some menu driven Python scripts for use on my iPhone (terrestrial and celestial navigation). So Pythonista is very appealing, but I have no desire to actually use my phone device for coding. Probably would be simpler to buy a iPad and build a workstation around it, but would prefer not to collect more hardware.
I've experimented with micro Python on the Numworks calculator and was encouraged by being able to develop in windows and simulate the calculator while using MS Visual Studio. Unfortunately this device hardware is too limited to get very far.
Is it possible to run Pythonista on an iOS Simulator (from Xcode) running on MacOS on a Windows 11 VM.
Any examples (or tutorials) of a working config would be helpful. Or, any rational why this would never work.
