Upgrade Smarty

#1: Upgrade Smarty to latest version.

Check compatibility with all free basic plugins, in case one or more modules have deprecated code, fork the plugin and fix it.

Better update Smarty. Chamial did it that way and it works very well, I use a Chamial installation to develop plugins. Error reports are much more explicit.
