It compiles fine, though but I hope it won't break in the future.

Thanks for the report @TVdata

The unsafe operations are because the Android midi code currently uses untyped containers (eg ArrayList() instead of ArrayList()). This won't break in the future, but should be fixed just as good practice.

I'll look into the deprecated API next time I'm looking at the library.
