Exporting current vtk-view as an image

Dear dash-vtk community,

I am looking for a way to export a vtk-view visualization output as an image so the user can download the currently shown figure.
Unfortunately, I haven't found a function or method to do this.

This capability is available internally within the OpenGLRenderWindow but as of today that is not exposed to the react API and therefore not available in dash..

Thank you for your reply, unfortunately this makes dash-vtk a lot less useful for our use-case. Of course, screenshots are a workaround, but still.
