Which model is currently recommended?

When reading the docs I could not figure out which of the devices is actually recommended at the moment and is available at aliexpress?
Initially I found TH04 to be the "highest version" which does not have the "Not recommended for purchase!" label, so I ordered it. Now I found this issue which shows that it is not recommended as well: #87

Before I purchase another model, I quickly wanted to confirm whether THB1/BT1 is the preferred option to order at the moment?

Depends on what is required.

All PHY6xxx chips consume twice as much battery power as TLSR8xxx.
TLSR8xxx also supports Zigbee.

ZTH03PRO/ZTH02PRO (Zigbee) with 2xAAA batteries

The most important thing today is that the sensor isn't a CHT8305.
Or a "G40" for Xiaomi hygrometers—they're often defective.
And CR2032 batteries aren't recommended.
At least CR2450 or 2xAAA batteries are recommended.

This is the second similar hygrometer, which has been in operation for three years now. The battery in the first device was recently replaced after exactly three years of use. However, the original history, which spanned more than three years, was not saved in the HA database...

In the freezer with 2xAAA batteries.
It has a CHT8305 sensor – it will work properly down to 2.5V.
With another sensor, the battery life would take 5 years.

Other hygrometers have shorter battery life.
And there are no statistics yet for newer models with CR2450 or 2xAAA batteries. They haven't been in operation for three years yet...

5 years battery life, no problemo 😎

On average 3 years, after which the batteries will leak.

@pvvx How did you accomplish such a long battery life with the TH04? In fact mine only lasted for 3 weeks :-O

So I am about to order ZTH03PRO (Zigbee). Is this compatible regardless whether it is the HW version ch or en?
Even though it is the Zigbee version it will also be usable via BLE with the ATC_Mithermometer firmware, right?!
