The following things are issues in the current biomass sankey:

• The Sankey is incomplete, e.g. Bio-oil in industry is not included.
• Non-biogenic carriers are an unclear category.
• Subdivide aggregated biofuels to individual carriers

During our first brainstorm on the subject I took the following notes:

For our conceptual model, we should go through the model to chart all biomass flows.
Since the 'non-biogenic carriers' is vague we should:

• split out the demand-side non-biogenic carriers in a group with 'Industry transformation' and name the other carriers that have dedicated flows to them.
• For instance, the flow greengas to electricity production should be explicitly modeled in this sankey.
• For now we came out to the carriers, heat, electricity, and hydrogen. These carriers have processes in which they are created from biomass carriers in the model.
• Furthermore, the non-biogenic carriers on the supply side should be split out in a similar fashion.
• For now we came up with natural gas (bio-pyrolysis oil), and hydrogen.

This should be sharpened after the conceptual phase.

• Create new queries
• Update Sankey front-end (colours, etc.)
• Remove all old biomass sankey queries that are not used anymore
