I thought all this was proprietary. But thanks for bringing this out.
Also this gives SnapRaid some competition.

I wanted to give this a test on my system however.... All my disks are XFS so.... so no resizing to add an extra partition lol.

Edit: So if I understand this right I can use btrfs single raid to have all disks in (one pool) and have parity? nice.

Well, theoretically. Nothing's stopping you from doing that, but personally I'd stick with separate filesystems and add mergerfs on top to unify them, as that's the more battle-tested way of using this driver.

I disagree, having a single filesystem may be nicer and is exactly the storage stack I think would be nice. No need for fuse at all, btrfs handles the pooling, you can even make metadata raid1 to make it more resillient to write hole for filesystem metadata, and you could theoretically use parity to repair corruption if it is detected. Btrfs marks a disk/file for corruption? Pull the disk and check parity, as long as you're using RMW and didn't commit the bad writes to parity, it should be valid again and you can clear the device stats for detecting issues for next time.
