Discovery device naming

I've probably pushed this to its limits but eventually I got there. The bulbs are on their own VLAN, separate to the main network Hubitat is on, with udp broadcast relay enabled between subnets. 75 bulbs, consisting of color and color plus took in excess of 20 retries to discover them all, and I played with the settings also, increasing retry, secs between commands & page refresh etc. The biggest issue I saw was that many bulbs were added with names of bulbs that were already found, so I'd end up with 2 "bulb family 2" or some bulbs would list under the wrong group. I manually had to go through the device list later and edit the device names to their proper names by matching my IP address list/name from my Unifi client list.

If your devices can change IP address then I can see this happening - as the recommendation at the top of the discovery page says:

The device network id (DNI) for a LIFX device is based on its IP address. It is, therefore, advisable to configure your router's DHCP settings to use fixed IP addresses for all LIFX devices

If you've already done this then I don't understand what's happening.

I just experienced the same problem. I haven't looked into it yet either, but I had to go through my list of reserved IPs and rename as well.
