We asked Magento Cloud support regarding Fastly caching problems and got an interesting answer:

Due to Fastly’s infrastructure design, cache warmers are not effective. Therefore, the use of cache warmers is not recommended.
Fastly uses an LRU (Least Recently Used) cache eviction strategy, which means cached objects are not guaranteed to remain for their full TTL (Time To Live).
Eviction of cached content is influenced by factors like request frequency, TTL, and the specific POP (Point of Presence) serving the content.
This means that under certain conditions, especially in lower-traffic regions, some content may not be served from cache as expected, potentially leading to slightly slower response times.

What is your experience with that?
Do you find cache warmers useful for your websites (probably Magento stores)?
