Use OK Button as refresh

Sorry I am somewhat new to Roku development. 
Am looking for a sample that allows user to click the OK button on remote function to refresh app component, or refresh connection to connected stream using 

.contenturi = "http://exampledomain.com/roku.xml"

Roku developer forums has more general user forums posted rather than developers making most of these forums unresponsive or unanswered.
