RustBridge at RustConf 2017?

Hi all -- I've tried reaching out on IRC but got no response, so I'm trying here.

At RustConf, we have space for an extra half-day workshop, and I was wondering if people think it would be a good idea to hold a RustBridge event (this is the day before the main conference). We would seek sponsorship so that we could fund people from underrepresented groups attending.

Is there someone involved with RustBridge who would like to come to RustConf and is interested in heading up this effort? Mozilla would cover cost of travel and tickets.

Hey @aturon I'd be glad to do it. We need to have the website ready and at least enough material for half a day of work so this is enough motivation to get the project in shape. Completely open to get help from @erickt and others as well.

@sebasmagri Ack, I'm sorry I never followed up here. So, @carols10cents and @ashleygwilliams are currently set up to host RustBridge at RustConf, and you should coordinate with them if you want to help out.

re: covering expenses, that should be doable. Just send me an email!
