[Question] I don't see the results in my webbrowsers anymore - what do I have to check?

I cannot use the api access through http anymore.

This is my setting:

I have the omnisearch companion 1.4.2 and Tampermonkey 5.2.3

The problem occures in Google Chrome and Firefox.

What do I have to check to get it run again?

Sometimes it works.

The console shows infos

Do I have to exclude something in my security plugins of the browsers?

Omnisearch Companion is developed by someone else: https://github.com/ALegendsTale/omnisearch-companion

I don't use it myself, but it probably conflicts with the userscript if you have both installed.

I uninstalled it, but have the same result.

What result exactly? What does it show when it doesn't work?

I see no search results from Obsidian. In a testvault, I see this:

The error is probably because you have both vaults open with the same port for Omnisearch.

Like "0 result" or does it still display "loading..." without resolving?

Edit: if Omnisearch still works fine within Obsidian, you could probably see an error in the browser's dev console.

Obsidian runs only once. I checked it in the task manager. Without any search I get

ok, so DDG certainly updated their layout, and that broke the userscript (and the "omnisearch companion" plugin). I'll take a look at it asap 👍
