As said in here:

the imports
import com.google.appengine.labs.repackaged.org.json.JSONException;
import com.google.appengine.labs.repackaged.org.json.JSONObject;
import com.google.appengine.labs.repackaged.org.json.JSONArray;

and their use fail. They are no more part of the Java Appengine SDK.

Don't use Sendgrid. As you can see, an "excellent" [/irony] support.

This library is easily patchable in order to work, but will encounter big limitations (no CCs, and much more).

I happily switched to Sendgrid official Java library, currently v.3:
