warning before overwrite

When I choose a custom url for my note, but an old note with exactly this url existed already, it will just be overwritten. I think, a warning would be nice.

Are these the repro steps?

1. open up tab 1 with url /test
2. open up tab 2 with url /test
3. save contents on tab 1
4. save contents on tab 2 -- tab 1 content is overridden

So there should be a warning at step 4?

Yes and no.
The repro steps are correct.
I would rather issue the warning at step 2 ("Warning: A textpad with this url is already open!").
At step 4 would be okay, too, but then you have already typed a bunch of text and don't know what to do with it.
Or, leave steps 1-4 as they are, but when afterwards I enter tab 1 and click on the text window to type something, issue a warning ("Warning: The text has been altered in another window. Saving this text will delete the other one.").
