Hi. rusmap vk (by sezu) has ceased to exist, but it was used as a basis for russian mods. i want to open his archive, but if i unpack 3 of his files, then about 800 files with extension mat, pmd, pmg,tobj get dumped. I would be fine with just taking out manifest.sii, replacing the compatible versions line, and then putting it back in.

This is probably even better than the other options, because then you don't have to open the model files.

pmg and pmd are also very important

I've been driving around the extracted version for a bit (with the patches I've made). There haven't been any console errors about missing models so far, so the leftover pmds and pmgs in _unknown are likely unused and won't matter all that much.

As for replacing files in a packed mod in-place, that's not possible at the moment.

can you post this version to a file sharing site before release (if you want to do it) so I can check if the mod will really unpack well?

nothing has changed😭 there are pink textures all over the map, and all the icons on the map are pink

Are you sure you've copied the files correctly? The pink textures are the first thing I fixed, and it's working fine on my end.
