Upgrade to 8.25.1 has triggered an issue on Unit type in Home Assistant

Following my system auto-updating to 8.25.1 overnight, I now have the following error reporting in Home Assistant:

The unit has changed
The unit of 'PV Forecast Now' (sensor.predbat_pv_forecast_h0) changed to 'kWh' which can't be converted to the previously stored unit, 'W'.
If the historic statistic values have a wrong unit, you can update the units of the old values. The values will not be updated.
Otherwise, you can choose to delete all historic statistic values, and start over.

Questions:

1. Is this expected?
   a. If so, what is the recommended resolution?
   b. If not, is this due to be corrected?
2. Would reverting to previous version resolve this, or will it just leave other values incorrect since the latest release?

It is expected, the units on this sensor were set incorrectly before.

Reverting won't remove the warning from HA statistics.

Its unlikely you use the stats for that sensor in graphs etc so you can just accept the repair HA offers
