Implement Code of Conduct for community health #33

Description

Description

As SpectraGraph scales for SWoC 2026, it is essential to establish a framework for a respectful and inclusive environment. Currently, the repository is missing a CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md file, which is a requirement for standard open-source community health metrics.
Because SpectraGraph is an OSINT Intelligence Studio, we need a Code of Conduct that not only covers general behavior but also emphasizes the ethical use of our tools.

Proposed Requirements

  1. Standard Adoption: Adopt the Contributor Covenant (v2.1).
  2. Ethical Clause: Include a section regarding the responsible use of OSINT transforms and respect for data privacy during investigations.
  3. Reporting Mechanism: Clearly state how community members can report violations to the maintainers.

Why this is needed

  • Safety: Protects contributors from harassment and ensures a welcoming space for developers of all backgrounds.
  • Compliance: Many open-source programs and "Hall of Fame" listings require a Code of Conduct to be present.
  • Ethical Rigor: Establishes that SpectraGraph is built for ethical, transparent, and repeatable investigations.

File Location

The file should be placed in the root directory as CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md.

I would love to work on this issue and Submit a PR.
