How to view list of followed users from Popup?

Hi Sachin.

I just discovered StackEye and it looks promising. I'm testing it out and I see that it is designed to "follow" users as in aggregating all their posts into one place.

What I'm wondering is how hard would it be to be able to create a button to see a list of all the users I'm following in the dropdown/popup from the Chrome extensions toolbar? I found the list but it is not viewable from clicking on the Chrome extensions bar link:

One needs to click "View All" to be able to see the list. Here is what my "View All" looks like:

A second related issue is that you can see I'm following 4 users, but it shows zero in the popup.

@codewizard13 Currently there is no way to see list of followed users in popup. If you look at the popup, we have written Notifications before Questions and Users. This indicates we are only showing notifications in popup

There are two types of notifications

1. Questions based notifications
2. User based notifications

This is why there are two tabs. But I do get your point. I take it as a feature request.

Please note that I do not work very actively on StackEye now as there are other priorities So it may take some time. If you want to contribute, I would be very pleased and offer all the help you need.

@sachinjain024 I've had a GitHub account since 2013, but only recently started understanding the collaboration aspect of it. I am excited about the possibility of working on this, I'm just not sure how to go about doing it.

I know I need to "pull" the repo, right? But, where is the code in your program that does the heavy lifting? Is it mostly JavaScript? Is this based on a framework (like Backbone) or some kind of library (React, Angular)?

@codewizard13 Glad to know you are willing to contribute to it. Actually StackEye was one of the first projects I picked up so I did not use any fancy library like React,Backbone or Angular. It's plain javascript and jquery based templating.

I will be available to help wherever you need - Maybe we can do skype session. I can also give you code walk through.

Feel free to introduce any framework if you are familiar with it.

Yes you need to fork the repo and download the code on your machine.

@sachinjain024 Thanks for the link! I've downloaded the repo and followed the instructions in your readme. I'll take a look at Medium.com link in a bit. I like the idea of Skype session. Let me see what my schedule looks like and get back to you.
