Your purpose in using this API:
The API will be used for a non-commercial Islamic educational website called Tafseel-al-Qur’an. The platform aims to provide Qur’anic study material with contextual references to selected authentic Hadith for teaching and learning purposes only. Hadith content will be displayed selectively (not entire collections), with proper attribution and links back to Sunnah.com.

API rate limits:

Maximum requests per second: 2–5 requests/second

Maximum requests per day: Approximately 5,000–10,000 requests/day

(We are open to adjusting these limits based on your policy and recommendations.)

Is your use case better served by having an offline dump of hadith data or programmatic API access?
Our use case is better served by programmatic API access, as it ensures accuracy, up-to-date content, and compliance with Sunnah.com’s data usage policies. We do not require a full offline dump.
