i'm doing KCLT...

• started with existing "parking only" KCLT ground net
• have added/edited ~91parking places
• full taxiways to all runways

refining it now... so far, i'm really liking the new tool by portreekid... has a few quirks but still quite usable...

This is exciting that you are doing this otherwise they just go to the center of the airport; my fear is even if we have plenty of gates the AAL Eagle Flights which I have found are simply overwhelming and in a lot of cases duplicated severely will still send some of the ERJ-145S to the center of the airport. I guess the key is to correct the traffic file which in itself is a task.

yes, the traffic is very old... the problem is for someone to figure out all the AAL flights and redo them... AAL, Delta, and several others are very large and locating all their flights is a major task... putting them into a flightplan file is another major task... certainly not something for those easily distracted or unable to stick with long tasks...

Just to let you know I am currently stripping from the AAL.xml traffic file all the MD80/MD83 aircraft and flight plans as you may well know American has retired these to the dessert. This will take some time, the aircraft I have removed, the flight plans however will be a lot more tedious because of the app I am using is notepad ++; I may look into a more efficient xml app that will allow more defined searches.

Have you gotten as far as having a true rwyuse file working? On mine they all want to travel down to the north end 36C despite the winds being 180 @5.

Make sure to ingest the two tables (Aircrafts vs Flights), The key you are taking out "required-aircraft" is common/shared and must be taken down from both tables at once
