Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I'm always frustrated when the Discord Moderator Exam Academy Beta joins my server and spams chat with phishing links.
Describe the solution you would like.
I would like the bot to be able to detect phishing links in chat among other criteria and automatically delete the message and kick or ban the user.
This solution can be implemented in parts due to it's potential to be complex.
The first part would be to have a list of known bad names they like to use and check users username/nicknames and when they change them and kick or ban them if they change to one of the bad names.
The second part would be to have a hook on the creation of a users message to detect common fishing links. There is an example of this that uses a list from Discord themselves to detect messages perhaps store our configurable url list as well that we can add to as we become aware of more that may not be on the Discord list.
The third part is a bit more complex but I think could be very beneficial to early phish prevention. This would be to have a service which could store hashes of profiles pictures known to be used by scam accounts and have an API for comparing a users avatar to those hashes. This could allow you to potentially prevent even the DM based phishing attempts that you normally couldn't.
Describe alternatives you've considered.
Crying at night and just banning users when people dm me that they got scammed.
