Description
Fully customizable shape colors overlap with the yellow & red warnings = confusing. But having some color is a nice touch.
Perhaps could restrict colors to some predefined categories eg:
Public dream offering: purple
Camp communal space: cyan
Sleeping area: blue
Sound stage: pink
Art piece: white
Plaza/path: outline only
etc.
The color scheme outlined above allows the simultaneous use of the yellow and red warnings. (If there is a need for even more visual clarity, the name of the place could be preceded by an emoji.) In the future each of these categories could have their respective rules for overlapping.
Another approach is to fully allow colors but to have the warnings as a "layer" which temporarily restricts the visual style to three colors:
No warnings: gray
Warning 1: yellow
Warning 2: red
