Media Not Syncing to Trakt After Update

Summary: I haven't made any changes to my system yet my trakt "collection" (now library) no longer is reflecting new items that I am collecting into Kodi.

Steps:
(1) Install trakt plugin
(2) Ensure that sync (one way, from Kodi to Trakt) is enabled with add new items to library checked
(3) Add items to Kodi
(4) Scan for new items in Kodi

Observed:
Kodi adds item, trakt indicates that it's syncing, but items don't actually sync and Trakt does not show newly added items in library.

Sorry, I am noone to chime in, but how big is your library? Just i had the same issue, I have a librarybof around 6000 movies.

It seems that some recent trakt changes make a difference how addons interact.

Its seems that the kodi addon does a full sync, which can cause time outs.

I changed the batch to only read 500 at a time and this worked.

It was a hack at best, as if I now remove movies in kodi, it won't remove them from Trakt library, but I dont want to go down that rabbit hole.

I hope someone with more knowledge can chime in.

In the same ballpark as you. How did you go about batching to read only 500 at a time? I'm willing to do a workaround for the time being as this has really hampered how I interface with Trakt (and Kodi to be honest).

Did you enable it in settings?

Yes I do have it enabled.
Only the option under Series was not enabled but after re-enabling it, it still did not synchronize the library.

I also tried re-activating (or linking Kodi) with trakt.
Still does not work for me.

If you have a log I'm happy to look at it, but, my knowledge is minimal trust me.... Just out of curiosity, have you checked library on Trakt website itself? As trakt addons and apps do not show it...... very confusing I know.... also, what amount of items are you talking about too?

I cannot actually see you running 'my' version of the addon. Try uninstalling what you have, restart kodi, then install my version up above.

Afterwards I did re-link my user.

Ok, do my a favour, make sure all TV Show options are unticked on the sync setting, maybe its too much data, I've just double checked mine, and all new movies added.

It is unfortunatley that the script is kinda broken now and the last "official" version is from almost 1 1/2 years ago.

500 errors are server errors, not timeouts

The team is aware of the issue, but I don’t have an ETA for a fix yet. But they’re working on it! Thanks for your patience
